Journeyman Lineworker

Due to a vacancy, Agralite Electric Cooperative is seeking candidates for a Journeyman Lineworker position. Responsibilities include the construction and maintenance of the electric distribution system. Candidate must be safety oriented, able to communicate with fellow employees and members, and be proficient with personal computers.
   
Minimum qualifications include: An Associate Degree in power-line work and successful completion of a four year Apprentice Lineworker Program. Apprentice lineworkers who have graduated from a power-line work program and have at least two years of on-the-job training will also be considered. Candidate must also have a valid Commercial Driver’s License, and live within close proximity of Agralite’s headquarters per the company’s policy. A pre-employment drug screening and physical will be required.
